Breakdance by Alva and Gabriel


Breakdance ( also called b-boying or b-girling) is a dance. Breakdance is a type of  dance that is done by people who are part of the hip-hop culture. Breakdance was created of the people in New York in the early 1970s. The dance- style evolved during the 70s and 80s in big cities of The United States Of America. Breakdance has many moves. Breakdance uses different body “movements” like Spins, arm movements, leg movements, all of which are done to the rhytm of the hip-hop music. Breakdance was at the time most popular in the 1980s but breakdance continues to common today.

There are categories in breakdances. They are power moves, toprock, groundrock, foot work and freezes. Many of moves come from gymnastics or kung- fu, once or twice from balletic.
